Data Deletion Instructions

CocoSEO gives you full control over the data we store about you, including any data received from connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest).

Option 1 — Disconnect a single social media integration

If you only want to remove data received from a specific platform (for example, your Instagram Business account linked via Facebook Login):

  1. Sign in at cocoseo.co.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Social Media.
  3. Find the connected account (LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn company page, Pinterest account, or Instagram Business account) and click the trash icon to disconnect it.

This immediately deletes the OAuth tokens, the profile/page metadata, and the list of Facebook Pages / LinkedIn organizations discovered during the connection flow.

Option 2 — Revoke access from the platform

You can also revoke CocoSEO's access directly on the platform:

When you revoke access on the platform, any tokens we hold stop working immediately. We will delete the associated data the next time you sign in or you can email us to delete it sooner.

Option 3 — Delete your entire CocoSEO account

To delete your full account and all associated data — including articles, generated images, keyword research, and every connected social media account — email us at support@cocoseo.co from the email address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will confirm your identity and complete deletion within 30 days, and send you a confirmation once it's done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record (email, hashed password, profile info).
  • All sites, articles, outlines, images, and keyword research you created.
  • All social media OAuth tokens (LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook/Instagram page-scoped tokens), profile metadata, page lists, organization lists, and Instagram Business account ids.
  • Scheduled and historical social posts in our database.
  • Billing records (subject to legal retention requirements for tax/accounting).
